[swap] Liberate Your Art 2015

J'ai découvert le swap Liberate Your Art sur le blog de Louise. Ce swap est organisé par Kat Sloma, une artiste américaine. Chaque participant envoie 5 cartes postales représentant son "art", quel que soit le mode d'expression de celui-ci : photo, dessin, peinture, scrapbooking, céramique... L'imagination est finalement la seule limite.

J'ai donc envoyé mes cartes, toutes identiques (j'avais peur de manquer de temps pour les faire imprimer puis les envoyer aux Etats Unis... si prochaine fois il y a, j'essaierai d'utiliser différents visuels...).

 

En mars, Kat mélange toutes les cartes et les ré-expédie au hasard... Un travail de titan compte-tenu du nombre de participants : plus de 300 !

J'ai reçu petit à petit mes cartes en provenance d'Alabama, d'Arkansas, d'Oregon, du Canada, de New York, d'Allemagne ... Chacune est un véritable petit trésor, toujours accompagné d'un gentil mot en prime...

 Une très belle expérience, de très jolies découvertes... Et juste très envie de recommencer en 2016 !

I discovered the Liberate Your Art swap on Louise's blog. This swap is organized by Kat Sloma, an american artist. Every participant has to send 5 postcards shownig their art, whatever this art is : photo, drawing, painting, scrapbooking, ceramist... Imagination is the limit !

So I sent my cards, all the same (I was afraid of getting short of time to get them printed and send them to the USA... next time, I might use different pics).

In march, Kat swapped all the cards and sent them all around the world. A huge work as there are so many participants : about 300 !

Then I began receiving my postcards from Alabama, Arkansas, Oregon, Canada, New York, Germany.... Each of them is a little treasure, and kind words are always going with the pics.

So I got : a blueberry from Jane Peeks, a NYC view from Sherry Galey, a dogwood blossom from Chandra, a shell from Cathy, a collage from Andrea and Imminent Downfall from Kat.

Such a nice experience, so many great discoveries... I long for Liberate Your Art 2016 !
